Hello Folks,

I was doing something in my car tonite in -30C weather and I closed the glove box door. When I tried to reopen the door the knob would turn as usual but it would not open. It seems as if the latching mech is no longer attached to the knob. How do I 1) get into the box without damaging the car and 2) remove the latch to fix the problem. From my search only 200/800 series cars have any problems with the glove box latches, my 700 series must be special!!
