Just recently purchased a 1990 240 DL wagon. It ran great for the first two weeks, but now won't start. The previous owner told me when I bought it that it could use a new battery. I drove it every day for the first two weeks with no problems, but then let it sit for two full days and went to start it, but it would not start. The engine turns strong, but will not start. I put in a new battery to see if the other one was in fact weak, but still it cranks and cranks but won't go.
Also, and I don't know if this could be a related problem, when driving at night the high beams flicker repeatedly, no problems with the low beams, only the high beams. Thanks everyone.
