Couple questions - front end shake and leaky proportioning valve 900

Hi guys - happy new year to you all :) Have a couple questions for you. 1) My wife's 92 940 (170k) has had a steering wheel shake between 50-65mph for about a year now. It's not extreme, but very noticeable and annoying. In the past year, I've replaced the struts, radius arm bushings, ball joints, new goodyear aquatreads. The only thing I can think of that I haven't replaced (front-end wise) is the tie rod ends and sway bar end link bushings (shot). Would either of these contribute to the vibrating front end? Or might it be something else?

2) one more somewhat related issue - when I make RH turns, the steering wheel likes to 'break free' for a moment at times. You know the power steering on these 940s is always very consistent. Either yours is heavy, or somewhat heavy, but usually, LH-to-RH turns are consistent. My wife's car has always been somewhat heavy. But for the past few months, I've been noticing on almost any RH turn, as soon as start turning the wheel, it will 'free up' for a moment and then get back to it's usuall heavy feel. It's somewhat disconcerting - even though I'm expecting it. Frighening to the wife :) I lubed the u-joints on the steering shaft (in the engine compartment) - and checked everything intuitive - but nothing jumps out.

3) brake proportioning valve is leaking - Right under the master cylinder (this car has ABS), there's a cast-colored brake proportioning valve - well, it's not really a proportioning valve (ford in me is talking), but a junction block. I definitely have a leak here. I've tightened up all the fittings, but it still leaks. I have been adding brake fluid every couple months - but really need to fix this thing once and for all. I would think there is no way this thing could be bad... what do you guys think? Do they go bad? Or should I just pull it out, clean the thing up and the fittings on the line, and put it back in? I don't understand how it would start leaking in the first place. BTW - it's not the master cylinder. I wiped everything down a couple times and have checked it this past year - it's definitely coming from the junction/proportining cast unit under the master cylinder.

Thanks guys so much! Regards, Chris
