Hi,

I wonder if any one can help or at least through me a clue to what may be wrong with my fab 940 salon, She has done 137K, And now she seemes to have the following probs.

1) 3-4 SPPED, when taking off she goes through her gears, and when she hits 45 she sits in "What i presume to be 4" If I go to overtake or touch the gas ped she changes down, and the rpm goes through the roof, but v v little speed and lots of noise.

2)Her locking clutch will not function, She will sit at 4.500rpm when at 70 mph.

I have checked her cickdown cable and this seemes to be in order however no matter how I tighten it slaken it does make no difrence. Her auto fluid is ok, I am fearing auto box/cluch. But dont want to walk in a garage for them just to tell me that I need the above when I dont.

I would realy appreceate any sugestions you could give....
