Just bought a '96 965, not from a Volvo dealer. Maintenance book shows dealer stamps only at the 30,000 and 90,000 mile intervals. HIgh-pitched low volume squeal in the area of the accessory belt idler pulley. No stickers in engine compartment indicating mileages of any belt changes; is there any way I can tell by inspection whether the timing belt (70,000) and accessory belt (60,000) were in fact changed, or should I bite the bullet and change them both ASAP? Other than the idler pulley, anything else I should plan on changing immediately?
