Lighter Wiring in 1978 242

Hello all,

I have just acquired a 1978 242 and have been sorting out a few issues, one of which is that the cigarette lighter is not working. After removing the unit I discovered that though the body of the lighter was connected with a black wire (I assume a ground), there was nothing connected to the terminal of the socket. I was unable to located any loose wires nearby. As a start, what color wiring should I be looking for?
