heater fan resistor location 200 1986

Hi All could any one tell me if there is a heater fan resistor or not in a 1986 240 gl.and if so where is it located in the car. i have recently lost the use of speed 1&2 and suspect it is the resistor,all though the heater motor is on its last legs due to the amount of noise it makes when it is used.
