What gauges should the discriminating 240 owners have in their dashes? 200

Once the Volvo addiction takes hold of our minds most of us Brick-Boarders get an unhealthy fascination with the inner workings of our B2xx engines. Like most of you here, I want to know what is going on under the hood with my engine. I want to see how weather, my driving style and various mods I try are affecting my engine, for better or worse. I need the info...

On my 1985 244GGL I have the standard speed, fuel, Odo, TAC, temp, and idiot lights. Lately, I find myself considering the idea of moving the CD player back to it’s original lower column position, removing the clock, and using the five gauge spaces for more data.

I’m not ever going to be racing my brick so those kinds of instrumentation options are not under consideration. Unfortunately, my brick is not a turbo, although this mod is in the initial stages of contemplation for a future mod, so; I’m wondering if you were going to recommend 5 additional gauges, what would they be, and why? What could I learn about my engine or car with the gauges you recommend?

Offbeat ideas are welcome.
