More unfamiliar switches (to me) 200 1993

While looking througrh Volvos on eBay, I came across a picture of a Volvo 240 dash with two switches I didn't recognize. I'm guessing they were standard on later Volvos. What are the two switches between the emergency flashers switch and the seatbelt warning light? They look like a second defroster (perahps for the mirrors?) and a blue "snowflake" switch.
