FOgg lliights hookup 700 1989

O kay gusy I hoep this one is a quicky.

The car I just purchaced had fog lights installed on it. However they were not OEM (they were littel rice boy specials) but I sassume at one time they worked. However when I erecieved the car they were beat to a pulp.

I however picked up my better than Oem $17 yellpw specials LOL and atempted to wire them in. Which with the little bayonet clip on the car was no problem at all and I thought that after burying the conections in electtirical and duct tape I would soon be able to cut through the foog that often pleagues my morning rides into work.

However the only light that comes on when I flip the switch is the one in the switch.
My friend told me that Fog lights on my car was not a factory optin however the wires that go to the lights do not appear to be after market they were the classic liittle red and green (I think) and were included in the wire shroud that the rest of the drive lights were in.

Did the previous owner have some serious fun ad rewire a set of drive lights for fogs, or were they with the car? and if they were with the car whey arent they comiming on? and what might I chaeck to make them work?

thanks for listening

Cephis

P.s. IThere was also one maveric pair of power cords comming from above the drivers side light area that seemed to be worked on at the same time as the rice boy fogs (because it had the same ultra duct tape treatment ) but they just ended into no where. I don't know if this is important or not or what them might be .

again Cephis
