Hey everyone.
My dad was out and about in vancouver here, and saw a 1983 244 Turbo for sale. Don't know how much yet. First of all, is this any of your cars? Second, I'm kinda wary of it, because it's auto. How easy is a swap down the road? The last auto Volvo we had was a '83 245GL, and the auto made it pretty sluggish. In your opinions, is this over come by the turbo? are they still decent cars to drive? We had a '84 245 Turbo before, and it was super zippy and fun.
Also, i'm thinking of going and looking at this one possibly later tonight, anything i should watch out for besides the usual? I believe it has been repainted, judging from what the old man says, but i haven't gotten a hold of the owners yet to confirm that. What would a ballpark price for this be, if it had say, 200,000ish KM's on it? Thanks for any help everyone.
