Can I go from Synthetic oil back to Dino 900

I hope I don't stir up a beehive here but that's my question and I'm stickin to it. :-) I've searched through as much archive as I can but haven't found this one answered. This car is a 96 960 with 145k miles. The original owner said that he had just started using the synthetic. Thanks. Ed
