noisy air hoses 900

While under the hood of my wife's 1994 940, I noticed a noisy hose in front of the engine. It appears to return air from the exhaust side of the engine back to the air intake box. I've posted a picture:

to ID what I'm talking about. The noise goes away when downward pressure is exerted, and air can be felt at the corner junction. What are these devices called, can they be tightened, or can replacement parts be purchased? Thanks. -Chuck
