frigid weather, not firing up 200 1991

Hi Everyone,

Well NYC had a temperature of 1 degree on Saturday morning, I looked out the window at my beloved Sven and knew what was going to happen.., even though being Swedish thought he would love the cold. I got in and started him and all the lights worked, radio, etc, he started and died out.. As I restarted he cranked but would not fire up, I drove him the night before and ran smoothly, had a full tank of gas. I tried a few attempts that morning and gave up, retried that evening when temp reached 15 degrees and fine.. Is there anything I can do to get him started, without flooding the engine with constant tries...in this cold temp? or is it a loss cause to get him started with the temperature so low? Any suggestions?

Thanks so much!! and keep warm!!

Di
