Help! BanjoBolto-to-Fuel Fitler stripped/slipping 700 1989

I can't get the banjobolt off of the fuel fitler. This is the fitting from the filter to the engine.

I can turn the bolt, but it doesn't come loose. Looks like the nut that is inside the filter (bosch), is spining when I losen the bolt.

I have an extra fitting I got from pick'n'pull, but how do I cut the fuel line, and install this fitting? do they use heat to warm the inside fuel line?

any help would be greatly appreciated.
