Well, sir I can tell without even looking at the car, your problem is the Air Mass Meter. 700

Hello,

I recently changed several of the LH components that talk to the ECU, and keep my brick happily metered. The one component I left alone was the AMM. Just calibrated it and it runs great, and passed emissions fine after failing several attempts.
I gather, as I read the posts here on the site, that the first thing they do when you pull your Volvo into the shop is ring you up for a new AMM!!!!!!
Cha ching! If that doesn't work then it is time for some diagnostics!
Since my brick had a long history before it came to me, I figure it's probably had about 5 or 6 AMM's.
Does anyone else get the same impression?
In fact, if I ever really need one, I'll just go pull one from a junkyard brick.
Chances are it is only about six months old as that must have been the first thing the surgeon went for when the car was in its death throws..............
