Lost Lock-Up on tranny 700

car is '86 740 GLE non-turbo with ZF tranny.
It has 4 gears plus the Lock-Up (direct gear) at about 50 mph.

Now I noticed yesterday there is no Lock-Up mode anymore.
The fluid seems fine at a normal level.
I'll fill up to the max tomorrow when shops have open.
It drives fine besides that.
But for the next Vegas trip I would like to have the LockUp.

Any ideas folks?
