Brake Pads/Caliper Question 200 1981

I'm going to be replacing brake pads soon on the front of my 81. I just want good standard OEM quality pads that, if installed correctly, will be pretty quiet and last reasonably well. I don't do a lot of hard braking, just more or less normal driving. Any recommendations would be really appreciated. Also, how do I identify which type of caliper I have so I get the correct pads?
