'Hard' starting 700 1988

Engine used to start immediately all the time. Now it still does sometimes. However, some mornings it cranks a while, and then starts and runs rough for a few seconds. Does this sound like I'm losing fuel pressure as the car is sitting unused for hours? How do I check and fix it? It is not a big problem, but will it get worse?
