I'm new to the game of Volvo but after purchasing the wagon in October for my wife, I had to have a sedan for myself which I nabbed 2 weeks ago. The wagon is a plum at 80k miles but the sedan is more of a prune at 112k miles. Primarily the leather front seats and less than perfect rear end (minor sway and lower than it should be by maybe 1"?) How long do Nivomats typically last and do they have an impact on the rear end height or should I be looking at springs also? Also have had no luck thus far finding leather kits for the front seats. Do they exist or should I be looking at out of state junk yards? Idaho doesn't seem to have an abundance of wrecked 960's. Would a 1990 760 seat be comparable in terms of the leather pattern?
This site is outstanding.
