Gas tank to use for '69 142 efi B23 project? 140-160

Hi All,

Project is almost underway, I am currently looking at two possible donor cars that are priced right. I just need to figure out a few more issues before I attempt the swap. Obviously the swap won't take a day but I want to make it go as smoothly as possible.

Being efi the B23 will need a fuel tank with a return line, what is the easiest way to go about it?

The donor car will be an '83 240 with B23 and 5spd, can the gas tank be swapped into the 140 or are they a very different design to the 140 (mine is a '69 142 if that makes any difference) unit. Fuel injected 140's are very hard to find so getting a 142E tank may be hard. What do you guys suggest.

Also concerning fuel lines and fuel pumps, what have you guys used on your B23/230 efi installs?

Cheers,

Daz
