I got my Volvo 4 days ago and when I press the gas pedal down about 1/2 or more it doesn't reall accelerate that well. And from a dead stop once it hits about 3000rpm it looses power also. Once it looses power it just makes a lot of noise and slowly accelerates. If I drop down the throttle to about 1/4 it gets quiet and accelerates smoothly. I all ready replaced the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. I did find that the vacume stop to the ICU was turned the wrong direction and I wasn't getting any advance but when I corrected it, I got only a nominal change. But most of the problems occur at about 3k and above.
