alrighty then, i have a clunker. and i know its a clunker. here are the facts:
1. after adding up the body area, roughly, 15% is missing due to rot.
2. the exaust manifold gasket is missing on cylinder #1.
3. there is a crack in the windshield and i can't jusify buying a new one due to the price being more than i paid for the car!
4. it needs an entire exaust system.
5. there are alot of dents.
6. the turbo gets hot enough to cook a meal on.
7. i have recieved two warnings, fron area fuzz that the car is unsafe to drive and i agree with them, sincerly.
8. overdrive is gone.
9. it shimmies and shakes on the highway.
10. the power booster for the brakes is trash, manual brakes only, my left leg is reaping the benifits though.

THE POSITIVE SIDE
1. no car payments.
2. just have to carry basic insurance.
3. it has a nice stereo.
4. she has turbo power, still.
5. the excitemnt of driving a car with 366,000 miles on the odo.
6. it doesn't leak a drop, of anything!
7. she'll lay down a patch in first gear and chirp 2nd.
8. people laugh then i pass them as if they were in reverse!
9. she has genuine volvo sheep skin seat covers on all seating surfaces
10. she will make an excellent demolition derby car, i have never demoed a volvo before, but i f you live in southern new englad and know where thompson speedway is in thompson, connecticut. i'll be there with her, a 1982 glt two door with gold paint and cristmas lights. look for the upcoming "ice breaker."
