Hello, my 94 945T is very hard to start. It takes about 45 seconds of cranking to start it, and when it finally starts it takes a while for it to clear out. Once running it runs fine, except for the fact that it bogs down severely when more than like 3 Psi or so of the turbo. Checked the turbo hoses, they're fine, all firm with no soft spots where oil sits on the bottoms.
It started the other week, I double checked the timing and reset it, runs exactly the same. I'm thinking the engine temp sensor, the one used by the computer. I've read the FAQ and it seems like it will cause a hard start symptom. My fuel pressure regulator seems to be fine, no fuel in the hose, and pulling the vacuum hose off while running does the same to the car as it's always have, raised the idle a tad then it drops down. It's still a suspect though.
I have very little money. I'm in college and I'm looking for a job now. I've been driving my mercury sable but it's up for sale and I can't keep driving it and my dad is telling me to get the volvo running. So any ideas will be appreciated.
BTW... I have no fault codes. No black smoke on acceleration or if so very little. Car runs perfect once it's started and if I don't use the turbo or step on the gas too fast, then it'll bog down and kind of back fire, but not very loudly.
Thanks in advance!
