Purchased 1994 945T 85K MANY THANKS and more questions 900

Hey everyone,

So I purchased the 1994 945T with just under 85k gold ext./beige int. for $6100. I must say, it looks almost perfect and runs the same. I had it checked out by a Volvo guy and he recommended maybe a timing belt change and an oil seal I think and something for the alternator. I called the dealer where the car was bought from and serviced for its entire life, and they told me that the timing belt was done at 50k and the radiator was done June of 2001. So I think I'm good in both those areas as I have heard from a few people that these timing belts last 80k.

So now I don't need the belt just yet so I'm putting on the IPD anti-sway bars and thinking of getting turbo timer. It just seems to make sense for longer life of the turbo. Also putting in a nice Alpine head unit.

I do think, I hear something, like a very faint knocking coming from the suspension in the front when turning at lower speeds. Maybe could be the bushings or something. Advice on that would be good.

Also, maybe this is just an older car thing, but I feel like it should start better or stronger. Is this nothing to worry about, maybe just the cold? Are there upgrades to do for a stronger starting? Spark plugs, ignition wires?

And for a long shot, is there anywhere that I might be able to get black seats for this car? It's just soooo beige inside and I want to change it a little. I would trade my PERFECT beige leather seats if anyone's interested.

And finally, if anyone has any thoughts on checking something more, I mean since the dealer serviced it, wouldn't it be as close to perfect as can be? Let me know.

You are all a VERY big help!!!!

Thank you so much,
Barry
