ICU went out. Can I got back to points? 200

Well my Ignition control module went out yesterday. I'm kind of worried I wont find a new one on short order. So I was wondering what people think about getting and old points distributor until I can find a new ICU. I have a b23f so the ECU doesn't rely on the ICU for any thing.
