clutch noise? 200 1983

Slight whirring sound when clutch is NOT depressed. In neutral when clutch pedal is pressed the sound goes away. I had a new clutch installed about 4K miles ago. Have also been noticing a slight whining noise when traveling at about 65-70 mph with OD on? Is this the clutch, or something else? Any tests I can do to narrow it down?
