Sunroof drip pan seal 700 1988

I am in the process of trying to make a new sunroof drip pan seal for 88 745. It is the lower half of the sunroof and yes the drains are clear. All the local parts store could come up with was a camper shell gasket(it fits between a camper and the truck bed)which is not thick enough. In was thinking about going to Home Depot and looking around. I also need to reseal the the cowling screen and blower cover and need a sealant for it.
Does anybody have and idea?
