My $500 740 Turbo-Diesel! 700 1985

My first Volvo! Overall the car is not in bad shape, the dealer who had it just replaced the master cyl., front end components, O/D relay, glow-plug relay. It has 231,000 miles and will be an "airport" car (100 miles a week)
My concern is replacing the cam timing belt.

1) The "zero" mark on the flywheel is hard to identify due to surface rust, I can see a "0" which goes underneath the pointer @ TDC. Is this the zero mark?
I would think that it should be visible to properly index. And does the flywheel have only one mark on it? Cam lobes are 10&2 O-clock and cam gear mark is equal to cyl. head gasket surface

2) Are the "zero" marks, dead nuts on TDC? or should I use a degree wheel to check the TDC calibration mark on the flywheel? (knowing the germans, it should be right on, but is it worth checking?)

3) The injector pump belt is new, can I change just the cam belt provided I do not disturb the crank, cam, inj. pump relationship? I do plan on changing the water pump and thermostat & valve cover gasket (eng. at TDC and lock the cam position) or take the time to do the whole timing setup, the dealer will let me borrow the tools.

4) The radiator shroud opening is offset to the passenger side, and the fan blade has worn against the shroud, does this sound like someone used a gas eng. shroud instead of the diesel one?

5) What is the diameter of the cooling fan assy. for a diesel?

6) Is the FL1-A Motorcraft oil filter acceptable.

7) 180 degree thermostat ok? It is a florida car.

8) Who has a picture of the cyl. head bolt torque pattern and ft. lb. requirements?

I changed the differential fluid with 80W-90, and the man. trans with Type-F
ATF. Does the OD unit itself have any service interval reqs.?

I serviced the R-12 A/C system and put in a relay for the aux cooling fan so I can run it anytime, but the cabin blower fan squeals alot. Is this easy to fix?

This engine really wants to run, I am keeping the RPM below 3000 until the cam belt is changed. does 30-33 MPG sound about right for city & Hwy driving? and what is a realistic redline for this engine?

Needs new tires, it has P205/70r14's on front & 195/7014's on back!
what size do most run nowdays for hwy. useage? (no hills or towing duties OEM rims)
