How is the Volvo Logo Attached? 900

I took a slight hit on the left rear of my 93 945. A small dent right were the the Volvo logo sits on the lower left corner of the tailgate. My plan was to get one of those paintless dent removers. How do I remove the Volvo logo?
Is it attached with adhesive?

Any suggestions? Thanks!
