Sputtering 142 off idle 140-160

Hi, I just bought a '73 auto 142 with 63k original miles on it, even got the original title, I'm the second owner! It starts up and idles high, guessing around 1300rpm (no tach). As soon as you crack the throttle open it sputters and misses.

I checked the throttle position sensor and it did trigger the injectors, but I didn't clean it. I checked the pressure sensor by sucking on the hose, it seemed to be good.

The fuel pump is making some funky sounds but still runs. I'm going to check the fuel pressure when I get the car home.

Is there anything else you guys could suggest me checking, what goes bad in the distributor, seems like I read somewhere about stumbling and a simple distributor solution.
