now that i need a valve job 900

so the mechanic called to report on bent valves on 3 cylinders....so a whole head job.
he gave me a ballpark estimate of 1500-2000 for the job.
now my 960 has 120,000 miles on it.

i'am in college and will it be worth it to take out a loan to pay for it? or just scrap it and give up in defeat?
