Please help me find the Un-Buyable fiber washers 900 1991

I finally got down to going after the leaking oil seal on my distributor - had too cause there was so much oil the car wouldn't start :-(

Anywho, when I took off the distributor cap, I found that the fiber washer had come apart and splattered inside the cap. Actually, half of it is still in place, but I don't trust it to stay forever.

I've got to take the distributor apart to swap the oil seal and I'm rather afraid that the washer won't survive the operation.
Has anyone found a source for replacement of these little bits of unobtanium? I sure as heck don't want to drop $270 for a new distributor when the problem is likely a $.45 part.
