Left hand drive headlamp conversion 200

I have a right hand drive UK model 240 and need to have the headlamps converted for left hand drive as I am now in Europe. I have the later type rectangular lamps and the technical guys just told me to replace the whole unit. Does anyone know what the difference is - is it the lenses, the reflectors (mine are adjustable) or the housing, or a combination? I only replaced a complete unit in the last year and don't want to buy more than I need to.
