Is the AMM on a '84 240 GL LH 2.0 or 2.2 200

? I need to replace my AMM and don't know which to get, the model numbers match up with my 88 740 Turbo's AMM, I don't know if the AMM in the 240 is the origional, and maybe that is why the car is running so shitty.
