Help! pease, looking for where to get a thread tap to repair the mess I made of the mounting for my inertia reel. The bolt seems to be an 11 mm with about a 1.00 pitch. Non of my regular hardware sources have it. Closest I've found is a 12 mm 1.25 pitch but as we all know close doesn't cut it. Here's how I got in this fix. The originat bolt that holds the reel to the seat was put on with "permanent" loctite, the red stuff. I succeeded in removing the bold but failed to clean off the locktit b4 trying to reinstall the bolt. I stripped the outer few threads. There, I've confessed. There is very little material on the seat frame so am reluctant to drill out the old bore. Guidance please on a 11 mm thread tap. floribunda
