How about that axle noise? 1800

I just transplanted an ES rear end into my 122. Everything's fine-except-a small clunk in the right rear upon acceleration and something else I noticed yesterday-while going up a hill on a curve and accelerating, a growling noise from that same side.U-joints are brand new as well as rear end bushings. Are we talking a bearing issue? If so-can I do this repair myself?
