I am planning on installing a set of Bilsein HDs on my 85 244 and have a question about the spacer. I was told by Chris at ipd that the spacer was not needed for the Bilsteins only for the Boge struts. Is this true? I have heard different suggestions and just want to get everything straight before I start taking everything apart and realize that I need the spacers. So if anyone has any experience installing these please jump in. Thanks in advance.
