Is there some sort of gasket I need to replace when replacing a wiper motor? 200 1980

Title says all.

I'm going to swap the wiper motor out of my '80 245 DL and I was wondering if I should stop by the dealer and get a new gasket of some kind. I've heard of some people getting leaks from the wiper motor when they replace them, and I don't want to have to deal with that if it can be avoided.
