windows don't move up or down 700 1989

all four windows on my 740 do not move up or down. i am unfamiliar with the electrical system of this model. the only known electrical problem was that the cd player was stolen and was ripped from the dash and some adjacent wires may have been damaged. the car is 45 miles away so i am trying to get some basic things to look at to try and figure out. could it be as easy as a fuse or am i looking at a big PITA? just to clarify none of the windows from any of the switches work. thanks
