Temp gauge and gas gauge whacko. Advice please! 200

The temp gauge is pegged at the bottom, and the gas gauge is pegged at the top. I know about the temp compensating board (a $65 part) and the voltage stabilizer part ($25), all at the back of the instrument panel. Does replacing just the temp board solve both problems, or do I have to change out both? Any advice on who sells cheapest for these two parts? Dick
