Bricksters,

I really, really like the headlight harness upgrade from the Eastwood Company... made a few extra mods to the connections/connectors... but, the improvement is totally for real. Now, all I need to know is the highest wattage bulb I can stuff into the light without melting the plastic lens? LOL!

I saw a 9007 (a halogen upgrade to the 9004 with something like 60/55w @ $29 a pair) in my local autoparts spot and, on Ebay, I noted some kind of HID look-a-like with the same wattage (bid starts @ $15 and they are touted as having 7000k lumens and "seem" hi-pro). What are the best bulbs I can get? Where do I get them? What might I pay? etc... I have done considerable research, from Daniel Stern's site and others, but am interested in opinions.

Yes, E-codes would complete the total package... but, I want to make do with what I got... at least until the Plast & Son body kit, paint job, and Borbets are on the car.
