Alternator -- moves a bit, OK ? 200

1) My alternator can be moved by hand a bit, there is some free play.
Is that Ok? Or should something be tightened up a bit so it does not move at all?

2) All belts were replaced at 92K miles or 67K miles ago by PO -- I know I am pushing it, maintenance in Owner's manual calls for 50K interval.

I was inspecting the belts -- including timing belt after removing Cam cover. Timing belt still supple and no cracks or tears, no oil there either.

The drive bels are on the dry side. ANybody uses "belt dresser" on the drive belts? Is that any good?
