My distributor is worn (the shaft has a lot of side play), and I'd like to replace it. Looking for replacements I find most listed as 86-on. Some refer to a 85 with the 10mm shaft or the 14mm shaft (smaller is later, I think). Anyway, does anyone what will work in my 85? Other than the shaft diameter what is different? I guess since the 85 was the first B230 year it was somewhat transitional.

Of course, rebuilding may be an option, if one could get the necessary parts.
