940 radio removal 900

I know this question must get asked all the time, but I could not find the info by searching the forum. So, here goes:
The original unit has dropped the left channel, and doesn't play CD's, so I figure its time for a new one. My new Clarion ProAudio has arrived (with adapter kit), and I want to get it installed ASAP. How do I remove the factory AM/FM cassette stereo?
