scavenged oil pressure sender and guage, hook dash light up too? 200

as the subject says... the sender has 1 post, but can I hook the existing ( dash light) wire to the same sensor?
and where do you hook the volt meter wire to? alternator? or behind dash?
also I have a spare (radiator) temp sender that is unused and has 2 leads.. hook it in line with voltage for temp guage?
