Hello Again, Bricksters,

Need some advice - my 89 240 w/ 178k is idling rough cold or warm, and very poor mileage. Exhaust smells like raw gas, spitting out carbon particles. I've retrieved a 1-1-3 code, which I believe is indicating a fault in the fuel injection system. My next step was to use the OBD system to cycle the injectors - all worked. I then tested resistance on the injectors and all were to spec. Then tested all connectors on one injector, and all operated the injector. These tests were all done using the OBD to cycle the injectors. This proves the injectors and harness are good?? Any ideas on where to look next? By the way, I'm not able to clear the code...is this a clue? Thanks for any help!
