weber carb questions 120-130

Hello, 64 122 B18 weber carb. Today a shop told me my emissions at idle was excellent but as soon as it accelerates the emissions skyrocket wasting my fuel. Could this be from my choke not closing? They said I needed to rebuild or replace my carb. My next question is what kind of weber carb do I have? Many look similar. DGAV? DCOS? I have the square style air filter on top. Is a rebuild tricky? Are used carbs worth it? Anyone have a good site to help me complete their recommendations?
