1997 965 Puff of Smoke 900 1997

The other morning I was behind the car while my wife started it up and I was supprised to see a brief puff of blue smoke come out of the tailpipe when the engine fired up. It disappeared and then the exhaust was clear... It has 118K miles on the clock, is this a sign that I need to get the checkbook out????
