AC Mounting Bolts Won't Go Back On! 200 1985

I was changing the timing belt on my B230F, when I have to remove two of the mounting bolts to the AC. Specifically, the upper bolt facing the driver's side firewall and the caddy-corner bolt in the rear next to the engine. Now, I can't get the AC compressor aligned so that I can get the bolts back into the mounting bracket. I removed the PS and the AC-crankshaft belts without benefit.
